And, it happened again. My 6 year old left 1 shekel in his pocket. I am glad that he figured out that it was pointless to buy it back (for 1 shekel).

It just happened! My 7 year old left a 2 shekel piece. I charged him 1 shekel for it…..so it was still worth it to him. He wasn’t too happy about it, needless to say 😉

I think that’s an awesome way to teach kids to check their pockets. Just wait til they start leaving money in their pockets! My husband always finds money in his pockets when he checks the clothes before he washes them.
